Striking vintage 1940s dress with a vaguely military feel. Has two hip pockets and one breast pocket that's black and red and embellished with gold tone buttons. Short cuffed sleeves and pleating on the back. It zips up the front wth a meyal zipper. There is a small button at the very top if you want a more modest look. Large sized, I'd say. Unlined. Label says: Bullock's Californienne. Looks and feels like a marybe a polished cotton twill or similar, maybe a blend.

Excellent to great vintage condition. There are discolorations under the arms ad around the neck and some small smudges in various spots.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
The fabric does have some slight give so you can probably squeak an extra inch out of these without alteration though it'd be snug.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 44"

Shoulder to bottom hem: 39"
