Production Note

Each stroke of underglaze is carefully applied by hand before the initial firing, infusing the vase with a nostalgic charm reminiscent of antiquity. Subsequently, it undergoes a second firing at 1250°C, where a transparent glaze is meticulously added to the interior, ensuring a polished and enduring finish.

In a thoughtful contrast, the exterior remains untreated, allowing the natural texture of the clay to shine through, while hand-painted underglaze motifs adorn its surface, adding a touch of bespoke craftsmanship.

As each piece is crafted by hand, slight variations in decorative patterns and shapes may occur, further accentuating the authenticity and individuality of our artisanal workmanship.

INI CERAMIQUE is a ceramics studio based in Bourgogne, France. It was founded by Inhee Ma, a Korean designer who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Montpellier. Inhee creates a dialogue between craftsmanship, art, and nature through her collections. Every piece is entirely handcrafted step by step, with the highest level of craftsmanship that imposes an acceptance of time and its effects.
